I’m a licensed clinical social worker with nearly twenty five years experience working with adults in the area of mental health. I am passionate about being there for others in their time of need and want you to know there IS HOPE for whatever you are going through.

I come from the view that the mind, body, and spirit are inextricably connected, so I tailor my therapeutic approach to the needs and comfort level of each client as a way for them to feel safe, understood, and cared for.

My approach

I describe myself as an integrative, holistic therapist and typically combine several evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address the fullness and complexity of each client. Some of the Techniques I use include mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, DBT, somatic techniques to regulate the nervous system, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I have found that EMDR is especially helpful in transforming lives stuck in unhealthy patterns resulting from anxiety, trauma, or PTSD. I have witnessed this transformative power both personally and professionally.
